[1st minute: Now, one should understand what it means to meditate. What does meditation really mean? Meditation is something that happens—it is not something you “do.” When a person attains realization, due to the awakening of the Kundalini, their attention is drawn inward. The attention goes inside; it moves from the outside to the inside. This does not happen before realization. This inward movement of attention happens only after realization, after Self-realization.
When the attention goes inside, you can feel the inner pressures of the Kundalini. You can also feel where the Kundalini is stopping at the chakras. In the beginning, this sensitivity is low. Gradually, you begin to feel where the pressure is.
During meditation, one should first maintain a state of thoughtlessness (nirvicharita), and the attention should be kept on the movement or pressure of the Kundalini—where it is going.]
